About Us![]() Ivie Acres Farm began with a. strong desire of living on a farm, having lots of animals, place for kids and living it up "Country Style". The farm is family owned and run.
Our first animal was of a full size horse, learning soon it was not as easy as shown in the movies. It was a short ownership. Our next animal was a miniature horse we named Honey. She was a fun surprise and lived in our three car garage (weather was bad) until we could build an appropriate corral. We loved mini animals, a goat was added, another miniature horse, a miniature pig and we grew from there. We currently breed miniature animals for pleasure and to sell. We specialize in Miniature Horses and Shetland ponies to rent for riding, parties and events. We also sell, train and breed them. Our company's name is Utah Pony Party & Rides (Utahponyparty.com). You will see traditional farm animals on the farm. However, they are miniature farm animals. You will also see some nontraditional animals such as a yak and camelid cousins. The camelids are llamas, guanacos, alpaca, and camels. We are a family owned and operated business based on honesty, integrity and a mission to "make a difference". We have a desire to share our passion of animals , educate people as well as providing a memorable experience... ![]() The farm house in Grantsville, Utah

Our Photos
Our experience with animals have consisted of decades of animal care, workshops, and training's. Sherrie worked for Thanksgiving Point in Farm Country, educating diverse groups of children in different aspects on animals, agriculture and gardening. Her education and knowledge as a veterinary technician, animal anatomy, and agriculture in the classroom contributes to running and managing the farm. Our experience working and training camels has been also a fun addition to our farm. Master Gardener programs will be implemented as we strive to build our agriculture around the farm.
